Two Hour Gloss Paint is a high gloss, fast drying, protective and decorative top coat for interior and exterior use. This professional gloss gives long term, durable protection with a high gloss finish to a variety of surfaces. If you’re looking for the best quick dry gloss paint to apply by brush or roller, then Two Hour Professional Gloss has to be your choice. Because it is suitable for wood, metal and many other surfaces, it is ideal for restoration projects, structural steelwork, machinery, railings, pipework and more.
Two hour gloss is a high gloss enamel paint that dries to a hard finish. It is touch dry in 2 hours, which gives you excellent wet edge and flow out.
Highlights:
- Suitable for both interior and exterior use
- For metal, wood and many other substrates
- Based on vinyl toluene modified alkyd resin, (lead free) containing organic and inorganic pigments
- Solvent-borne
You can use two hour gloss paint over selected primers and undercoats from Palatine’s range. You can also apply it over previously painted surfaces. Best applied by brush or roller, but it can also be sprayed (dilute with no more than 10% white spirit). This high gloss, fast dry enamel paint has been used in many projects local to us here at Palatine Paints. Take a look at our Blog: Two Hour Gloss in Action at Leigh Spinners Mill. You can also see this paint used in many parts of the Lancashire Mining Museum

I used two hour gloss paint in Traffic Orange for a machine refurbishment, dry’s to a flat shiny finish, I wish I hard used Palatine primer from the start due to my normal primer bleeding through. I found that the orange needs at least two coats.

Applied to a building roof in late Autumn and now coming out of the winter it is still looking like applied last week. The strong glossy surface finish which appears to resist dirt and tree residue as well as bird dropping adhesion on surface. Planning to complete other work with the same gloss.

Really easy to apply, sticks really well and has a beautiful, tough glossy finish. I have used the black on the metal support of an outdoor table and even on ceramic plants pots. Great stuff!

I purchased the RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey for my garage door. A decorator has painted the door using a grey undercoat and it looks absolutely fabulous. So happy with the finished look. Thanks palatine

I used the olive green RAL6003 on our camper van and very pleased as I only used a gloss roller and and brush .. this paint flattens out and brush marks disappear once it starts to dry and leaves a great finish
